The Wheatsheaf Public House - Banstead

The original Wheatsheaf Public House along Brighton Road Banstead. It's replacement was built next to it and the two stood side by side for a time. The later Wheatsheaf has now been renamed The Olive Tree. The large signpost points towards Garratts Lane. This postcard and newer photographs of the same spot can be found in BHRG's book THEN AND NOW.
