Is there anyone who can please tell me where the post office at Burgh Heath was situated - I am having difficulty trying to visualise the whereabouts of all the old known buildings, pubs, houses/cottages etc on the common and surrounding area. Thank you!

Christine - You may have heard of this building as "Robert's Stores.
Another image of the Post Office in the BHRG collection may help you place it - picture #357 .

The bulding stood on the Brighton Road on the left when heading towards Reigate, just south of Burgh Heath traffic lights & in between Oatlands Road and the former Sugar Bowl (Il Pirata / Heathside).

For some years Travis Perkins have been on this site but they demolished the former Post Office around 2013.
A century ago Robert's Stores used to publish many postcard images of hereabouts.
