Mortuary Chapel in All Saints Churchyard

Something of a mystery, this chapel occupied the site of the present Garden of Remembrance. It apparently acquired its title, at least in the 20C, as it was thought to be suitable for emergency use as a wartime mortuary. It was damaged by a bomb in WWII but seemingly was not demolished until the late 60s. Can anyone provide further info about it?

Comments:
Just noticed the following which came from the April 1936 edition of the Banstead Parish Magazine.

At a meeting in the Church Institute of the All Saints Church Parochial Church Council on Monday
23rd March 1936 it was disclosed that plans had been submitted for a Mortuary Chapel to be erected in the Banstead Churchyard in memory of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Garton as a gift to the Church from the members of the family. A resolution was unanimously passed consenting to a petition by Mr. C. L. Garton for the granting of a Faculty for the erection of the Mortuary Chapel.

It is assumed that the Chapel was erected sometime later in 1937-8.
