Lych Gate, St Peter's Church, Woodmansterne

The War Memorial Lych Gate outside the Church of St Peter, Woodmansterne (see picture #92) is now a Grade II listed building. The person on the left is my great-grandfather John Henry Flowers who built the gate in 1919. The person on the right is my great-great-grandfather William Flowers who was deaf and mute. He was also a carpenter and passed on his carpentry skills to John. We the Flowers family are very proud that John's work has achieved this recognition.
