RECTORY LANE, WOODMANSTERNE, c1930

View close to the SW boundary of the former 450 acre Clockhouse Farm Estate, which was sold off in lots during the 1920's - 1930's.
Its boundaries extended almost as far as Oaks Park, Woodcote and Coulsdon.

Beyond Rectory Lane lay Hempshaw Avenue and Prestbury Crescent.

The route of the public footpath behind Prestbury Crescent, which leads up to Chipstead Way, can also be made out along the RHS.
