Beechholme from the air

This is a postcard of an old aerial view of the Kensington, Chelsea and St Marylebone School – which later became known as Beechholme of course, in Fir Tree Road, Banstead. The image was taken by “Surrey Flying Service, Air Port of London, Croydon” and the picture reference number is 1095.

Someone, presumably the original owner of the card, has placed a ‘x’ on the picture. This may mark the ground in front of the church… but equally, it may not.
