This postcard shows Colcokes Road Banstead being constructed through the parkland of Garratts Hall in 1934/5. The viewpoint looking south is approx 75 yds from the junction with Garratts Lane and shows newly built houses on the east side of the road but apparently still parkland on the west side. At this stage the road appears to stop at a telegraph pole,
