Who was this airman's girlfriend?

This image compilation shows a German airman, Horst Heinrich, and his English girlfriend from the time when Horst was a POW in the Park Road Camp in Banstead.

His son, Dr Guido Heinrich came for a visit in 2026 and tells us that "On the back of the photo, in my mother’s handwriting, it said that this was his English girlfriend. The photo of my father was taken in 1944, the year he was called up as a Luftwaffe trainee."

So, who was the girlfriend? If you have any clue, do let us know.
