This brings back wonderful memories of Banstead CC for whom I played from 1953 to 1963.
A Mr.Harvey used to keep the score and post a copperplate copy of the scorecard on the flagpole at the end of play each day.
I am still in contact with Dennis Partridge, Pete Day and Brian Downing who also played in my time.
