The Banstead Motorcycle club

A photograph of The Banstead Motorcycle Club in 1930. The original came from a photograph album belonging to Ted Smith who lived in Belmont Road, Belmont. Ted was a site agent for R J Construction of Banstead for about 25 years. Ted's step son-in-law Ron Harrow worked there as a carpenter for a few years alongside a painter and decorator who was always called Woody.

In this photograph Ted is the rider at the left hand end of the group.

Do you recoginse anyone else, or know anything of the club, or the motor bikes? If so please let us know.
