One of Mr John Soper's wonderful and ambitious Gilbert & Sullivan productions at Banstead County Junior School (as it was then). This is HMS Pinafore with Philip Southgate & Julie Wilkinson in the lead roles in 1974 (I think).

This production was in May 1973.

The lead role was Philip Norgate, not Southgate!

Omg! I remember going to see that. Would have been 6 or 7 at the time. My sister Louise Harris will be somewhere in the photo because she was in the school play.
