Remembrance Day 2009 at the Banstead War Memorial

2009 Remembrance Day - On an overcast Sunday morning, the people of Banstead once again turned out in large numbers to remember the men of the village who gave their lives during the two World Wars. Vicar of All Saints, Reverend David Chance who led the service, can be seen to the right of the memorial.

The base of the memorial is surrounded by wreaths laid by many local organisations and groups, including one from the Banstead History Research Group.
