The Beacon, summer 1959

This is the front cover of The Beacon magazine in 1959 – Banstead County Junior School’s annual magazine which was produced by children in the top form under the gentle guidance of their teacher, Mr Jones. The cover design, and the illustrations inside, were all linocuts made by the children specially for The Beacon.
